ISF, ICS and ITF have produced this poster to promote the IMO/ILO Guidelines on the Fair Treatment of Seafarers in the event of a Maritime Accident.

These Guidelines require that seafarers should be treated fairly by investigating authorities in the event that they are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident involving their ship.

The poster provides seafarers with advice on how to protect their interests in the event that they are questioned or detained following a maritime accident.

A3 size copies of the poster are available via national shipowners' associations.
