The International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) is holding an International Shipping Conference in London, at the Institution of Engineering Technology, on Wednesday 9 September. 

This event is aimed at senior executives from international shipping companies and seeks to highlight some of the main issues in which ICS is currently involved on behalf of the global industry, including piracy, CO2 emission reduction, and safety issues.

The event will be chaired by the ICS Chairman, Spyros M Polemis, and the keynote speech will be made by the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization.  

The cost of attendance this year is just £99 (excluding UK VAT @ 15%) and includes documentation, lunch and an evening reception.  Additional colleagues from the same company can attend for just £60 (plus UK VAT @ 15%).
