this site This site provides information about the International Chamber of Shipping (ICS) and the International Shipping Federation (ISF) and news about regulatory and other developments affecting the international shipping industry. Various publications produced by ICS and ISF can also be ordered on-line. ICS is the international trade association for operators of merchant cargo and passenger ships. ISF is the international employers' organisation for shipping companies. The membership of ICS and ISF comprises national shipowners' associations from over 40 countries which collectively represent more than half of the world's merchant fleet. Both sister organisations enjoy consultative
status with the various United Nations agencies responsible for
