*In addition to latitude and longitude, the report should include: a general

description of the sea area, the country or countries nearest to the location of

the incident and an indication of whether the attack occurred in national or

international waters.

Details of incident†:

†Include details of the raiding party (their number and appearance, suspected language, nationality and other distinctive details such as whether they were wearing uniforms). Describe the number and type of boats used to approach the ship, the duration of the attack, the area of the ship attacked, the level of violence and the type of any weapons used.
